Dolomite

Dolomite is a powder lime product that helps balance acidity levels. Worms are most comfortable and will thrive in a pH range of around 6.5 – 7. Acidic conditions can create problems in the worm bed, so adding agricultural lime (calcium carbonate) to increase the pH can be beneficial.

It’s also a great source of magnesium and calcium and provides favourable conditions for the formation of humus from organic soil matter. Our recommended application is once a fortnight.
